The UK is puckering up to Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa once again – One Kiss is Number 1 for a sixth week.

Already Calvin’s longest-reigning consecutive chart-topper, One Kiss now matches the six weeks spent at the top spot back in 2011 by We Found Love, with Rihanna. We Found Love spent two separate stints at Number 1 for three consecutive weeks apiece.

Six consecutive weeks at the peak of the Official Singles Chart for Calvin makes One Kiss the longest-reigning Number 1 by a Scottish act in 24 years, since Wet Wet Wet’s Love Is All Around, which is the second-longest reign at Number 1 ever, at 15 weeks.

Elsewhere in the Top 5, Anne-Marie’s 2002 reaches a new peak of Number 4, and Ella Eyre claims her first UK Top 5 single in three years; Answerphone with Banx & Ranx ft. Yxng Bane climbs two to 5.

New entries and high climbers

Two more songs reach new peaks in the Official Chart Top 10 today. Jess Glynne’s I’ll Be There leaps seven to Number 6, while Flames, David Guetta and Sia’s seventh collab together, rises two to 7.

Clean Bandit’s latest single Solo featuring Demi Lovato is this week’s highest new entry at 12, while Years & Years earn the title of this week’s highest Top 40 climbers, clambering 14 spots to Number 24 with If You’re Over Me.

Four more songs scale the Top 40 this week too: M-22’s First Time ft. Medina vaults seven to Number 26; Yxng Bane races five places to 27 with Vroom; Man Down by Shakka ft. AlunaGeorge rockets 12 to Number 28; and Selena Gomez marches 10 slots to 29 with Back To You.

Finally, two songs impact the Top 40 for the first time this week. Tom Walker’s Leave A Light – which originally peaked at 41 some 15 weeks ago – debuts at 35 following its use on the Sony Bravia TV adverts, and Ramz claims his second UK Top 40 hit; Family Tree, the follow-up to his Number 2 single Barking, lifts two to 40.

Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa extend their reign at Number 1 on this week’s Official Singles Chart with their latest collaboration One Kiss.

The track logs a third week at the top spot 7.3 million plays on streaming services over the past seven days, keeping Ariana Grande’s No Tears Left To Cry at bay in second place for a second week.

One Kiss is now Calvin’s longest running chart-topper in seven years, since his feature on Rihanna’s six-week Number 1 We Found Love. As a headline artist, it’s his longest since his first chart leader, 2008’s Dance Wiv Me spent four weeks at the summit.

New entries and high climbers

Elsewhere in the Top 10, Anne-Marie’s 2002 lifts three places to a new peak at 5, and Post Malone’s Psycho rebounds four spots to Number 6. The rapper also claims this week’s top two highest new entries as his new album beerbongs and bentleys lands at Number 1 – Better Now opens at 9 and Paranoid is new at 11.

London rapper EO climbs into the Top 20 with his breakthrough hit German, up six places to 18, while David Guetta and Sia leap from 33 to 19 with their latest collaboration Flames.

Further down, Paloma Faith’s Make Your Own Kind Of Music zooms from 56 to 28 to earn the star her tenth UK Top 40 hit, and two songs from The Greatest Showman soundtrack returns to the Top 40; A Million Dreams at 38, and Never Enough at 40.

Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa’s One Kiss holds on to Number 1 for a second week on the Official Singles Chart after a bumper week of streams.

The track was played 8.7 million times across all streaming services this week, the highest one-week tally since last June, when Luis Fonsi’s Despacito logged 8.8 million streams in its fifth week at the top.

Landing straight in at Number 2 this week is Ariana Grande’s No Tears Left To Cry, the lead single from her upcoming fourth album. The track was streamed 7.3 million times this week and earns the US star her sixth UK Top 10 single.

New entries and high climbers

Elsewhere in this week’s Top 10, production duo Banx & Ranx along with Ella Eyre and Yxng Bane surge 11 places to Number 7 with Answerphone, Anne-Marie’s new single 2002 – co-written by Ed Sheeran – is new at 8, and Zedd, Maren Morris and Grey’s The Middle rebounds three places to Number 9.

Khalid & Normani’s Love Lies edges closer to the Top 10, up four places to 12, and three tracks from J Cole’s new album KOD land inside the Top 40: KOD at 17, ATM at 28 and Photograph at 30. The entries lift the rapper’s tally of Top 40s from one to four.

Further down, David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Brooks’ Like I Do zooms eight places to 32, Liam Payne & J Balvin’s Familiar is new at 34, and rapper Nines rebounds six spots to 40 with I See You Shining.

Two Avicii songs finish inside this week’s Official Singles Chart Top 40 following his tragic death last week. Million selling chart-topper Wake Me Up returns at 26, while his breakthrough hit Levels re-enters at 36. 2013 hit Hey Brother finishes just outside the Top 40 at 43.

Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa have scored the biggest Number 1 tally of 2018 to secure this week’s Official Singles Chart crown.

One Kiss, which climbs 3 to 1 this week, amassing a combined total of over 70,000 units (comprising 7.1 million streams and 22,000 downloads) to claim the top spot. It earns Calvin Harris his ninth UK Number 1, while Dua Lipa nets her second chart-topper, following 2017 smash hit New Rules.

Calvin Harris now joins the likes of ABBA, Spice Girls and Rihanna to become only the 11th act in chart history to notch up nine or more chart-topping singles.

Drake’s Nice For What – the most-streamed song of the week with 7.9 million plays – drops one place to Number 2, while Lil Dicky’s former Number 1 Freaky Friday with Chris Brown slips to Number 3.

Sigala and Paloma Faith reach a new peak of Number 7 this week with Lullaby, up two, while Banx & Ranx net their first UK Top 20 hit; Answerphone, the Canadian duo’s collaboration with Ella Eyre and Yxng Bane lifts seven to Number 18.

Zayn secures this week’s highest new entry with Let Me at Number 20, his 7th Top 40 hit, while Cardi B’s I Like It featuring Bad Bunny & J Balvin rockets 17 positions to Number 23. Sean Paul, David Guetta and Becky G are also big climbers, rising 14 to Number 25 with Mad Love.

Nicki Minaj’s two comeback singles Chun-Li and Barbie Tingz both impact the Top 40 at Numbers 26 and 31 respectively, with EO sandwiched in the middle; his breakthrough single German is a new entry at Number 30.

Finally, there are two new entries for David Guetta this week, taking his all-time Top 40 tally to 36 singles. Flames with Sia scales 19 placings to Number 37, and Like I Do, his collab with Martin Garrix and Brooks, hikes 25 to this week’s Number 40.

Drake has made a last-minute grab to claim this week’s Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart.

The Canadian rapper’s latest track Nice For What – surprised released last Saturday (April 7) – has been scaling the Top 40 all week and narrowly edges out last week’s chart-topper, Lil Dicky and Chris Brown’s Freaky Friday (2), to bag the top spot.

Nice For What is Drake’s fourth Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart and second this year, following What’s My Name (with Rihanna, 2010), One Dance (2016) and God’s Plan (2018).

Drake also holds off strong competition from Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa, whose new single One Kiss lands at Number 3, earning Calvin his 24^th Top 10 and Dua her fifth.

It was a close finish at the top, with just 2,096 combined sales separating this week’s Top 3.

UK rapper B Young reaches a new peak with his breakthrough hit Jumanji, up one place to 13, while this year’s winner of The Voice UK, Ruti, debuts at 14 with her winner’s single, a cover of The Cranberries’ 1993 hit Dreams. It’s the second-highest placing for a Voice winner’s single on the Official Chart, behind Stevie McCrorie’s Lost Stars, which reached Number 6 in 2015.

Elsewhere, Banx & Ranx, Ella Eyre and Yxng Bane’s Answerphone zooms 24 spots to Number 25, Cardi B’s Be Careful vaults 45 spots to Number 27, and Nines debuts at 37 with I See You Shining – the North London rapper’s first Top 40 hit.

Further down, Kylie Minogue scores her 51^st Top 40 hit with Dancing at 38, Sean Paul’s Mad Love ft. David Guetta and Becky G lifts five places to enter the Top 40 at 39, and Cardi B makes a second entry with I Like It ft. Bad Bunny and J Balvin at 40.
