Jason Derulo is number 1 for a second week

Jason Derulo has kept his place at the summit of the UK singles chart.

‘Want to Want Me’ remains number one after achieving 75,000 combined chart sales, including 2.07 million streams, over the past week.

Midweek leader Natalie La Rose settles for second place with her debut single ‘Somebody’ featuring Jeremih.

OMI’s ‘Cheerleader’ falls one place to three but is still the most streamed song of the week with 2.33 million plays.

Major Lazer, MO and DJ Snake’s ‘Lean On’ rebounds three places to number four, while Skrillex, Diplo and Justin Bieber’s ‘Where Are U Now’ rounds out the top five.

Lawson get this week’s highest new entry with their single ‘Roads’ at number 11.

US rapper Fetty Wap climbs five places to reach a new peak of number 15 with ‘Trap Queen’, while DJ SKT’s ‘Take Me Away’ featuring Rae reaches number 19.

Florence + the Machine gets her ninth Top 40 hit with ‘Ship to Wreck’, which is at number 27, and The Weeknd’s ‘The Hills’ enters at number 30.

San Andreas tops the UK box office

San Andreas has rocked the UK box office with takings of £4.6m.

The Dwayne Johnson-led disaster film knocks Pitch Perfect 2 off the top spot and down to number two with £1.8m.

Mad Max: Fury Road, Tomorrowland: A World Beyond and Avengers: Age of Ultron complete the top 5.

Elsewhere, Simon Pegg’s romantic comedy Man Up is new in at number seven with £529k, while Al Pacino’s Danny Collins is also new at number ten with £225k.

Splatoon is the biggest-selling new franchise on Wii U

Splatoon is the fifth fastest-selling game on Wii U and replaces Zombi U as the biggest-selling new franchise.

Unfortunately for Nintendo, however, it fails to dislodge The Witcher 3 from the top of the all-format gaming chart.

Despite a 69% week-on-week drop in sales, The Witcher 3 remains first, ahead of the aforementioned Splatoon in second and GTA 5 in third.

A 51% hike in sales sees FIFA 15 remain fourth, above Farming Simulator 15, Battlefield Hardline, Project Cars and Destiny.

Mortal Kombat X and Minecraft: Xbox Edition complete this week’s top ten.
