‘Grown Ups’ beats ‘Expendables’ at UK box office

Adam Sandler’s latest comedy Grown Ups has ended The Expendables‘s short reign at the UK box office summit.

The ensemble film, which also stars Chris Rock, Rob Schneider and David Spade, takes in £2 million to land in first place ahead of comic book adaptation Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.

Toy Story 3 holds its place at number three, while Expendables and Salt are at four and five respectively.

Diary Of A Wimpy Kid debuts at number eight and the Avatar re-release charts at nine. Family comedy Marmaduke is the biggest faller, slipping five places to number ten.
