Leonardo DiCaprio in Inception

Leonardo DiCaprio has admitted that he was initially confused when he read the script for Inception.

The actor said that he needed hours of time with director Christopher Nolan to resolve some of the film’s more baffling issues and to develop his character Dominic Cobb.

DiCaprio told The Hollywood Reporter: “I needed to know implicitly where we were. It got incredibly confusing at certain points in the beginning, but the more we talked, the more I understood.”

Producer Emma Thomas – Nolan’s wife – added: “The work [Leo] did on his character with Chris made the movie less of a puzzle and more of a story of a character audiences could relate to.”

DiCaprio previously confessed that the cast and crew had to do “a ton of detective work” when filming Inception in order to to figure out the movie’s plot.

Denzel Washington: ‘I did my own Unstoppable stunts’

Denzel Washington

Denzel Washington has revealed that he did many of his own stunts while filming Unstoppable.

In an interview on BBC’s Radio 1, the actor described the decision as “the stupidest thing” he has ever done but admitted that he enjoyed the rush of the experience.

“Being an idiot is what compelled me to do my own stunts. I think the audiences know when it’s green screen and when it’s fake and they can relax, but a part of the stress that you feel… is knowing that myself and Chris Pine, we’re actually the one’s up there,” he explained.

“It’s like, ‘Wow, it’s actually dangerous!’ I think that helps create some of the tension. Every time you see me on top of a train, that’s really me. We had a stuntman [who] did most of it but I had to do it as well. A train going 50 miles per hour and I’m running across the top of the train!”

He added: “It was ridiculous, it was the stupidest thing I’ve ever done in my life.”

Unstoppable is now in theatres.

Eliza Dushku has failed to give the Warner Bros’ remake of Buffy The Vampire Slayer her backing.

It has been confirmed that the studio will make the big screen version without its creator Joss Whedon – something which worries Dushku, who played Faith in the series.

Reacting to the news, she commented on Twitter: “Alright, if you’re asking what I think, tonight, my instincts say Joss made the “Buffster” & w/out him… I just don’t trust the girl. Or the world.”

Whedon himself has admitted that he has “mixed emotions” about the remake, which will be written by Yes Man actress Whit Anderson.

Christian Bale

Christian Bale has reiterated that the next Batman film – The Dark Knight Rises – will be the last in the series.

Bale spoke to MTV News about the highly-anticipated superhero sequel, declaring that he is determined to make the last film in the series the best one.

“[I’m] very excited, because if Chris [Nolan] maintains, this will be the last one,” Bale said. “We’ve got to up it.”

However, Bale confessed that he has not yet begun preparing for his last outing as the Caped Crusader.

“It just hasn’t been necessary yet,” Bale stated. “I know [Chris]’ll give me plenty of time to prepare for whatever I need to, and I’ll discover it. He’s a pretty damn good filmmaker. I trust that he’s going to come up with something wonderful.”

Production is believed to begin in New Orleans in April of next year.

Emma Watson as Hermione Granger in Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows

Warner Bros will re-release all eight Harry Potter movies on limited theatrical runs once they have been converted to 3D.

The studio’s domestic distribution president Dan Fellman confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that J.K. Rowling’s fantasy saga will be heading back to cinemas after the release of next July’s closing chapter, Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

“I don’t think a wide theatrical re-release could sustain the costs of a modern marketing campaign,” Fellman said of plans for the relaunch.

Earlier this year Potter producer David Heyman admitted that it was “just a matter of time” before the films get re-purposed for the 3D format.

Warners last month announced that the Potter franchise, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, was being targeted for release on 3D Blu-ray.

The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 currently sits at the top of the US box office after a $125 million opening weekend. Worldwide the series has pulled in $205 million on its first five days on release.

Joss Whedon

Joss Whedon has declared that he would love Angelina Jolie to play Wonder Woman.

Whedon, who will begin shooting The Avengers in early 2011, spoke to Entertainment Weekly about who he would like to see as the famous superheroine.

“For me, Wonder Woman was basically Angelina Jolie,” Whedon said. “She spends a lot of time flying around. She works in a lot of different countries. She’s very global. And she’s appalled by the way people treat each other.”

Whedon also revealed that he wrote a Wonder Woman script five years ago that was never produced, and that he modelled the character on Jolie, claiming that she was what he imagined a real Amazonian goddess would be like.

The Avengers is scheduled to be released on May 4, 2012.
