Gore Verbinski has reportedly signed to helm The Lone Ranger.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean director plans to reteam with Johnny Depp for the Disney project, reports Coming Soon.
Depp is attached to play the Lone Ranger’s sidekick Tonto.
Jerry Bruckheimer is producing the movie from a script by Justin Haythe.
Verbinski’s previous films also include The Ring, The Weather Man and The Mexican.
