Sam Worthington has admitted that Clash Of The Titans was not as good as it could have been.

Speaking to Moviefone, the actor conceded that there was room for improvement in the film’s sequel and promised to work hard on his own performance.

“I just think we can improve on it. I think the first one, we kind of let down some people. And yeah, I totally agree,” he said.

“The only point of doing a sequel is either the audience demands it or you believe you can better the first one. What we’re setting out to do with this one – the writers and the director and myself – is improve. I think I can act f**king better, to be honest… This one I want to kind of try to satisfy a lot more people.”

The remaining ten episodes of SGU‘s second season will air in the spring.

Executive producer Joseph Mallozzi previously revealed that the show’s production team had planned out a five-year story arc.

Nicholas Brendon aka Xander in 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'

Former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon has called the new Buffy reboot movie a “mistake”.

Speaking to E!, the actor, who played Xander Harris on Joss Whedon’s genre series, said that the film would probably have a hard time finding a fanbase.

“I think it’s a mistake. They have to reach a whole completely new fanbase, and we already have that fanbase. So it’s going to really be hard to do that. But you know everyone – they remade The Flintstones. Twice, I think,” Brendon explained.

He added about the remake: “I hope their vampires don’t glitter.”

The A-Team

The A-Team director Joe Carnahan has claimed that his big screen revamp of the ’80s TV series “blew it” with cinema audiences.

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Carnahan suggested that the blockbuster – which made just $77 million at the US box office – wasn’t marketed well enough by 20th Century Fox.

“We kind of fell victim to a marketing misstep in that there wasn’t necessarily an understanding of what the show was,” he said. “We didn’t do an adequate enough job of telling people what the movie was, if you know what I mean.”

Carnahan claimed that, despite a lack of clarity in the ad campaigns, he received positive feedback from people who went to see Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Quinton Jackson and Sharlto Copley in the action film.

Jon Favreau

Jon Favreau has reportedly decided not to direct Iron Man 3.

According to NY Mag, the director – who helmed the previous two installations of the famous franchise – informed Marvel Studios this week that he would not return for the next film.

No reason was given for the decision, but sources told the publication that Favreau was “frustrated” with the studio’s desire to include more characters from other comics into the next project.

He also spoke to MTV News last month, admitting that he was unsure what Iron Man 3 would be about.

“In theory, Iron Man 3 is going to be a sequel or continuation of Thor, Hulk, Captain America and Avengers,” he said.

“This whole world… I have no idea what it is. I don’t think they do either, from conversations I’ve had with those guys.”

Liam Neeson leaving a Hotel

Liam Neeson has admitted that he had to avoid thinking about Disney film The Lion King while working on his character’s voice in the Chronicles Of Narnia film series.

Neeson voices the great lion Aslan in the franchise, and reprises his role in the third film The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader, which was released this weekend.

“I tried not to think of James Earl Jones!” Neeson joked with MTV News, referring to the actor’s acclaimed role as Mufasa in the 1994 animation The Lion King. “That would be a little too intimidating.”

Neeson also revealed that he had travelled to Africa in preparation for his role as Aslan in order to give his acting an added sense of authenticity.
