NBC has revealed exactly where Heroes Reborn will fit into the network’s fall schedule.

The new Heroes season will air on Thursdays at 8pm, and will be followed by The Blacklist at 9pm.

Original creator Tim Kring’s latest project will see a new bunch of allies with unique abilities “unlocking the mysterious fate of the universe and their place within it”.

Both new and original cast members feature in the project, with Jack Coleman’s Noah Bennett making a return alongside Masi Oka’s Hiro Nakamura and Jimmy Jean-Louis as The Haitian.

New faces include Chuck‘s Zachary Levi, Gatlin Green and Ryan Guzman, with Pruitt Taylor Vince and Eve Harlow also appearing.

Original series actor Milo Ventimiglia recently warned Heroes fans that they “may not be completely satiated” by its spinoff.

Avengers: Age of Ultron has topped the US Box Office after taking $187m in a massive opening weekend.

The sequel becomes the second highest opener of all time, beaten only by the first Avengers film.

Elsewhere, Blake Lively’s The Age of Adaline is up one place to two with $6.2m and last week’s number one Furious 7 is down to three with $6m.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is at four with $5.5m, while Home rounds out the top five with $3.3m.

Kenneth Branagh’s Cinderella is at six with $2.3, Ex Machina is down to seven and horror Unfriended is down three to eight with $1.9m.

The Longest Ride is at nine, while Woman In Gold is at ten with $1.6m.

Bad news Beauty and the Beast fans – the season three premiere date has been pushed back.

Originally the series premiere was set to air on May 21, but the CW has moved it to June 11, Entertainment Weekly reports.

The third season is expected to focus on the relationship between Vincent and Cat now they are free from Muirfield, manhunts and beasts.

However, there will be more dangers ahead for the couple that will threaten Vincent’s life and their chance at a normal life together.

Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan lead the cast in the supernatural drama.

Beauty and the Beast will air from June 11 at 8/7C on the CW and will run for 13 episodes.

The Power Rangers are making their return to the big screen, but a delay is pushing the movie back six months.

A film reboot for the popular kids’ series was announced as being in the works from Star Trek Into Darkness writer Roberto Orci last spring, although Orci later quit the project.

Development moved forward with Thor‘s Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz penning the screenplay and Dean Israelite circling the project as director.

Lionsgate and Saban Brands are now confirming that there will be a delay in release for the Power Rangers movie.

Power Rangers is moving from a July 22, 2016 release to January 13, 2017, according to Variety.

Little is known about the storyline for the reboot, other than that the original Green Ranger actor Jason David Frank is expected to appear.

Frank revealed last autumn: “They are so tight-lipped on that project, it’s ridiculous. I don’t even know my involvement in it. They talked to me about being involved, and the fans would love to see me involved.

“We were originally talking about a Green Ranger series, but unfortunately just due to the Lionsgate movie they don’t want to overshadow anything or suppress the appetite of the fans, which is a little disappointing. But there’s still possibilities of it. I think they are trying to save my appearance for the Lionsgate movie.”

The very first television show in the series – Mighty Morphin Power Rangers – became a worldwide sensation upon its debut in 1993.

Two big screen adventures followed in 1995 and 1997, earning a combined $75 million at the worldwide box office.

The action thriller starring Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker took $18.2 million in its fourth weekend in cinemas to stay top.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 stays at number two with $15.5m, as Blake Lively’s fantasy romance The Age of Adeline enters the box office with $13.3m at number three.

Home stays at four with $8.3m, while online horror Unfriended rounds out the top five with $6.2m.

Alex Garland’s Ex Machina is a surprise riser, moving up from number fifteen to six with $5.4m.

The Longest Ride is at seven with $4.3m and Will Ferrell’s Get Hard is at eight with $3.9m.

Monkey Kingdom is at nine with $3.55m, while Ryan Reynolds’ Woman In Gold is at ten with $3.55m.

A visit with grandma goes horribly, supernaturally wrong in a trailer for M Night Shyamalan’s new movie.

Two children (Ed Oxenbould and Olivia De Jonge) are expecting a nice trip to their grandparents’ home in The Visit, but things go from mundane to terrifying at night.

Shyamalan uses a found footage format for the horror movie, as the kids document their grandparents’ increasingly bizarre behaviour.

“They’re weird during the day, even weirder at night,” the kids tell their mother (Kathryn Hahn) while pleading for a rescue.

The Visit is a return for Shyamalan to the horror genre, in which he previously had hits with The Sixth Sense, Signs and The Village.

More recently, Shyamalan directed the fantasy epic The Last Airbender and science fiction action movie After Earth.

The Visit opens on September 11 in the US and the UK.

The action thriller starring Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker took $29 million in its third weekend in cinemas, while also passing the $1 billion mark at the global box office.

Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 fails to overtake the action thriller and debuts at number two with $24m, as online horror Unfriended enters the box office with $16m at number three.

Home falls from number two to four, and The Longest Ride‘s $6.8m leaves it at number five.

The action thriller starring Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker has now taken over $252m after claiming $60.5m this week.

The film became the fourth highest opener of all time last weekend.

Home stays at two with $19m, while new entry The Longest Ride is at three with $13.5.

Will Ferrell’s comedy Get Hard is at four with $8.6m, Kenneth Branagh’s Cinderella is down five with $7.2m and The Divergent Series: Insurgent is at six with $6.8m.

Horror hit It Follows may get a follow-up, with American distributor Radius-TWC revealing that discussions have already begun regarding a sequel.

Tom Quinn, co-president of Radius-TWC, said that a potential title has also been talked about for a second instalment.

“I don’t want to give away too much, but we’ve thought about it,” Quinn told EW of the sequel plans.

He added: “Flip the title. There’s so much you could do.”

David Robert Mitchell’s It Follows sees teen Jay (Maika Monroe) on the run from a shapeshifting demon that’s passed on by having sex.

The title Follow It suggests a reversal in fortunes for the sequel.

It Follows has been drawing rave reviews from critics since its Cannes Film Festival debut last year, and currently stands at a 95% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

To date it has earned more than $11 million at the box office from a budget of $2 million.
