Zootopia kept its number one spot on the US box office for the third weekend in a row.

The animated movie, which debuted at number one, took in $38m, pushing its total box office gross to the $200m mark.

Shailene Woodley’s Allegiant, the latest in the Divergent franchise, debuted in second place with $29m, followed by another new release Miracles from Heaven in third place with $15.

10 Cloverfield Lane was pushed down two spots with $12.5m in fourth place.

Ryan Reynold’s anti-superhero comedy Deadpool slipped from third to fifth place with $8m.

Deadpool has enjoyed success in the US box office since its debut in February, already making a total of $340.9m at the US box office.

Gerard Butler’s London Has Fallen, follow-up to 2013’s Olympus Has Fallen, went from fourth place to sixth place with $6.8m.

Leonardo di Caprio’s Oscar-winning movie The Revenant managed to re-enter the list in tenth spot with $1.2m.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, The Perfect Match and The Brothers Grimsby round out the top ten.

Zootopia has retained the US box office after taking $50m in its second weekend.

The animation saw off competition from 10 Cloverfield Lane, which debuts at 2 with $25m.

Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool is at 4 with $10.8m, while London Has Fallen is down to 4 with $10.6m.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is at 5 with $4.6m and The Perfect Match is new at 6 with $4m.

The Young Messiah is new at 7 with $3.4m and Sacha Baron Cohen’s The Brother’s Grimsby is at 8 with $3m.

Finally, Gods of Egypt is at 9 with £2.5m and Risen is at 10 with $2.25m.

Zootopia has debuted at number one in the US box office with an impressive $73m opening weekend.

The animation –​ featuring the voice talents of Idris Elba, Ginnifer Goodwin and Shakira –​ fought off competition from London Has Fallen, which is new at 2 with $21.7m.

Elsewhere, last week’s number one Deadpool drops down to 3 with $16.4m and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is at 4 with $7.6m.​

Gods of Egypt slides to 5 with $5m, Risen is at 6 with $3.8m and Kung Fu Panda 3 is at 7 with $3.5m.

Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool has won the US box office for the third successive week, having taken £31.5m.

The movie has now taken a total of $285.6m in the US.

Meanwhile, Gods of Egypt is new at 2 with $14m, and Kung Fu Panda 3 stays at 3 with $9m.

Risen is at 4 with $7m, Eddie the Eagle is new at 5 with $6.3m and Kate Winslet’s Triple 9 makes a slightly disappointing debut at 6 with $6.1m.

Elsewhere, How to be Single is at 7 with $5.1m, The Witch is at 8 with $5m and Race is at 9 with $4.7m.

Finally, The Revenant rounds out the top ten with $3.8m.

Ryan Reynolds’ comic book movie took $55m, taking its total earnings in the US to $190m.

Meanwhile, Kung Fu Panda 3 stays at 2 with $12m and Risen is at 3 with $11.8m.

Horror movie The Witch is at 4 with $8.6m and How to be Single slips down to 5 with $8.2m.

Race is new at 6 with $7.2m, Zoolander 2 is at 7 with $5.5m and Star Wars: The Force Awakens is at 8 with $3.8m.

Finally, The Revenant and Hail, Caesar! round out the top ten with $3.8m and $2.6m respectively.
