Zootopia holds off 10 Cloverfield Lane at top of US box office

Zootopia has retained the US box office after taking $50m in its second weekend.

The animation saw off competition from 10 Cloverfield Lane, which debuts at 2 with $25m.

Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool is at 4 with $10.8m, while London Has Fallen is down to 4 with $10.6m.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is at 5 with $4.6m and The Perfect Match is new at 6 with $4m.

The Young Messiah is new at 7 with $3.4m and Sacha Baron Cohen’s The Brother’s Grimsby is at 8 with $3m.

Finally, Gods of Egypt is at 9 with £2.5m and Risen is at 10 with $2.25m.
