Perry claims she requested image retouch

Katy Perry

Katy Perry has claimed that it was her decision to digitally alter a recent photo shoot in order to reduce her cleavage.

Earlier this week, it was claimed that representatives for the singer requested promotional images for forthcoming VH1 special Divas Salute The Troops be retouched, after deciding that Perry’s breasts looked too big in the photos.

“I was the one who asked VH1 to tone down my digitalised image on the poster, particularly the size of my chest,” People cites Perry as tweeting. “I don’t have handlers.”

Following the singer’s request, the photos were re-released with the changes earlier this week.

Divas Salute The Troops will air on VH1 on December 5.

Lindsay Lohan has been axed as the star of the Linda Lovelace biopic.

The actress was due to play the late porn star in Inferno, but her ongoing treatment at the Betty Ford Centre has made it “impossible” for her to continue on the project, according to E!.

Director Matthew Wilder said: “We are withdrawing our offer from Lindsay Lohan. We are currently in negotiations [with another actress] and working out the legalities of bringing her onboard.

“We have stuck by Lindsay very patiently for a long time with a lot of love and support. Ultimately, the impossibility of insuring her – and some other issues – have made it impossible for us to go forward.”

Lohan’s rep added: “Lindsay is dedicated to her recovery and together they decided to move forward without her.”

Liam Neeson had previously been attached to the role.

“Daniel Day-Lewis would have always been counted as one of the greatest of actors, were he from the silent era, the golden age of film or even some time in cinema’s distant future. I am grateful and inspired that our paths will finally cross with Lincoln,” Spielberg said.

Snider added of Day-Lewis: “Throughout his career, he has been exceptionally selective in his choice of material, which makes us feel even more fortunate that he has chosen to join with us for Lincoln.”

Rachel McAdams injured on ‘Morning Glory’ set

Rachel McAdams

Rachel McAdams has revealed how she injured herself on the set of her latest movie Morning Glory during a love scene with co-star Patrick Wilson.

She told the Sydney Daily Telegraph: “I got bumps and bruises doing the love scenes because they wanted us to be kind of tumbling as we got in the bedroom.

“Roger [Michell], our director, thought it would work if we were rolling around. Awkward at first, like always, but this one had to be so mapped out because of the kind of comic moves that Patrick and I do… there was more laughing than any kind of embarrassment”.

McAdams plays an aspiring news producer in the romantic comedy, which was released to US cinemas on November 10. The film also stars Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton.

Corey Feldman: ‘Fans want Goonies sequel’

Corey Feldman has reiterated his opinion that a sequel to 1985’s The Goonies should be made, as the fans “treasure” the original.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, he also revealed that the other cast members and crew, including Steven Spielberg “want” the movie to be made.

He said: “We would all like to see it happen. There are stumbling blocks – no matter how much love there is”.

On The Goonies‘ loyal fans, he said: “The number one question that’s always been asked of me for the past 20 years is: ‘Will there be a sequel to Goonies?’ and unfortunately my answer is always the same: it’s not up to me, it’s the studio.”

“They treasure this film, as you know – it is literally their greatest family film title of all time. That’s the way they see it. It’s always on the top 25 DVD sales around the world all the time”.

“If we go and throw a sequel out there that’s lesser in quality, then suddenly we may hurt this continuous cash cow”.

Last month, Goonies cast members and director Richard Donner dismissed rumours of a sequel.
