‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ trailer debuts

The first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man has been released online.

The teaser video provides the first look at Social Network star Andrew Garfield as high school student-turned-webslinger Peter Parker. Garfield, the BAFTA-winning British actor, replaces Tobey Maguire in the title role for director Marc Webb’s superhero franchise reboot.

The trailer features a retelling of Spider-Man’s origins and closes with spectacular first-person perspective footage of the superhero swinging across New York skyscrapers.

Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Field and Irrfan Khan also star in The Amazing Spider-Man, opening in cinemas on July 3, 2012.

Muppet trailer spoofs ‘The Hangover II’

The Muppets has spoofed The Hangover Part II with its latest teaser trailer.

Following on from the recent ‘Green With Envy’ video, Disney has released a new promo dubbed ‘The Fuzzy Pack’. The clip, which features Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear, recreates the first trailer for the Hangover sequel.

The Muppets centres on Gary (Segel) and Amy (Mary) as they attempt to raise $10 million in order to save the Muppet Theatre from the clutches of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper).

The movie opens in the US on November 23 and February 17, 2012 in the UK. The Hangover Part II is in cinemas now.

Walt Disney Pictures has released the teaser trailer for The Muppets

The promo, titled Green With Envy, features Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy and a cast of Jim Henson’s puppet creations including Fozzie Bear, Gonzo and Animal.

The Muppets centres on Gary (Segel) and Amy (Mary) as they attempt to raise $10 million in order to save the Muppet Theatre from the clutches of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper).

The movie opens in the US on November 23 and February 17, 2012 in the UK.

Latest ‘Green Lantern’ trailer launches

Warner Bros. have released a new trailer for the upcoming superhero epic Green Lantern.

Unlike the previously released trailers which have mainly focused on the character of Hal Jordan, played by Ryan Reynolds, the new trailer is aimed at those who are unfamiliar with the character.

Narrated by Geoffrey Rush, who stars as the Green Lantern Tomar-Re, the trailer explains the origin of the Green Lantern Corps and their leaders, the Guardians of Oa.

The film also stars Blake Lively, Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Angela Bassett, Tim Robbins, and Michael Clarke Duncan.
