Sylvester Stallone has been announced as the lead actor in a new action film from The Cooler director Wayne Kramer.
IM Global CEO Stuart Ford made the announcement this weekend, ahead of launching Headshot to foreign buyers next week.
“Headshot is exactly the type of fast-paced, universally themed project that suits our business model,” Ford told The Hollywood Reporter. “Sylvester Stallone is an international icon and we’re really excited to be in business with him.”
Stallone will play a hitman from New Orleans who is forced to team up with an NYPD officer in the wake of two vicious murders.
Filming for Headshot is scheduled to begin in May.
