Warner Bros. has denied rumours that Glee star Heather Morris is being lined up to take on the role of Buffy in the studio’s upcoming film.
Earlier this year, it was announced that the studio will remake Buffy The Vampire Slayer without series creator Joss Whedon, and Morris has recently been linked to the movie’s lead role.
“We’re not even thinking about casting yet,” The Hollywood Reporter quotes screenwriter Whit Anderson as saying. “The script isn’t even written!”
Morris is best known for her role as cheerleader Brittany on Glee. She was upgraded to series regular for the show’s second season after becoming popular with fans.
There have been no official announcements from Warner Bros. regarding casting for Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
