DreamWorks Animation has announced an ambitious new project which combines both computer-generated images and traditional hand-drawn animation.
Me And My Shadow will be helmed by Chicken Little director Mark Dindal and produced by both Teresa Cheng and Melissa Cobb.
The film will tell the story of a shadow bored of being attached to an uninteresting human named Stanley, and decides to take control of his human in order to find some excitement.
The so-called ‘shadow world’ will be depicted in traditional animation, while the human world will instead be purely animated using CGI.
Me And My Shadow is due to be released in March 2013.
