20th Century Fox has announced that it has changed the release date of new Jack Black comedy Gulliver’s Travels.
According to The Wrap, the film will now open on December 25 in order to move it further away from other competing 3D films like Tron: Legacy and Yogi Bear.
The move will likely secure Gulliver’s Travels as the major family film opening for Christmas Day itself.
The film, which sees Jonathan Swift’s classic updated to a modern setting, features Black alongside stars such as Catherine Tate, Emily Blunt and Jason Segel.
