The CW has confirmed a premiere date for new drama Cult.
The thriller series - created by Farscape's Rockne S O'Bannon - was originally expected to debut in January 2013, but will air its pilot episode on Tuesday, February 19 at 9/8c.
Cult stars Matt Davis (The Vampire Diaries) as Jeff Sefton, a journalist who begins to investigate the television series Cult when he suspects that the show is linked to his brother's disappearance.
Jessica Lucas (Cloverfield) will play Jeff's ally Skye, while Alona Tal (Supernatural) and Robert Knepper (Prison Break) also star.
Josh Schwartz (Chuck) is also attached to Cult as an executive producer, alongside Hart of Dixie's Stephanie Savage and Len Goldstein.
The horror drama is one of two new series being held back by The CW for midseason, the other being Sex and the City prequel The Carrie Diaries.
