David Guetta knocks Dizzee off No. 1 spot

ImageDavid Guetta has topped this week’s singles charts with ‘Gettin’ Over You’.
The 42-year-old DJ made a late surge to number one, overtaking B.o.B’s ‘Nothin’ On You’, which was at the top spot for much of the week.Featuring a star-studded cast including Chris Willis and Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas, it is the star’s third hit single from his One Love album, following 2009’s ‘When Love Takes Over’ and ‘Sexy Check’.

With B.o.B in second place, Dizzee Rascal’s ‘Dirtee Disco’ fell to fourth after last week’s chart victory. There was good news for Jason Derulo and Aggro Santos, who both jumped to third and fifth spot respectively.

Eminem’s ‘Not Afraid’ slipped a place to number six, while N-Dubz were down two places from the previous week to eighth. Meanwhile, Sean Kingston & Justin Bieber moved up a spot to nine with ‘Eenie Meenie’.

Elsewhere, Alicia Keys re-entered the top ten at number seven with ‘Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart’. Edward Maya and Roll Deep finally left the top ten, with ‘Stereo Love’ and ‘Good Times’ settling for 12 and 14 respectively.
