Richard and Adam hold on to number one album

Richard and Adam have kept hold of the UK number one album this week.

The Britain’s Got Talent finalists stay at the top for a second week with their debut LP The Impossible Dream.

The Civil Wars settle for the number two spot with their self-titled album, having been outsold by 15,000 copies. It is the duo’s highest-charting record to date, after their previous LP reached number 13.

Imagine Dragons leap seven spots to three with Night Visions. Passenger slips one to four with All the Little Lights, while Jahmene Douglas falls three to complete the top five with Love Never Fails.

Example lands at 11 with his ‘Best Of’ collection #Hits. Birmingham band Swim Deep enter at 20 with their debut Where the Heaven Are We.

Metal band Asking Alexandria achieve the highest-charting album so far at 28 with From Death to Destiny.
