‘GRID 2’ tops all-format game chart

GRID 2 has replaced Resident Evil: Revelations at the top of the all-format chart.

Despite selling fewer copies than the original Race Driver: GRID, GRID 2 is the first Codemasters game since F1 2010 to secure the top spot.

FIFA 13 holds on to second place following a 17% increase in sales, while Dead Island: Riptide climbs to third.

Elsewhere, the EA-published co-operative shooter Fuse fails to debut in the top 20, charting at 37th place in its first week on sale.

It has been speculated that the title has only sold a few hundred copies as a result.
