‘Dead Space 3’ is biggest launch of year, despite 26% drop in sales

Dead Space 3 has made its debut at the top of the all-format weekly chart.

Despite a 26% decline in week-one sales compared with Dead Space 2, the latest instalment of the horror franchise is the biggest launch of the year so far.It is followed by FIFA 13 in second, Black Ops 2 in third, while last week’s number one Ni No Kuni drops to six.

Elsewhere, following one of the most-watched Super Bowl broadcasts of all time, Madden NFL 13 re-enters the chart at 19, above Forza Motorsport 4.
