‘Home’ beats ‘Get Hard’ at US box-office

Rihanna’s Home has topped the US box office in its debut weekend.

The children’s animation that also stars Jim Parsons took $54m, beating Will Ferrell’s comedy Get Hard.

Get Hard debuts to $34.6m, while last week’s number one Insurgent falls to three with $22m.

Kenneth Branagh’s Cinderella falls to four with $17.5m, as horror film It Follows climbs to number five.

Kingsman: The Secret Service earns $3m and falls to six, and Run All Night takes number seven.

The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel falls to number eight, as Do You Believe?‘s $2.1m leaves it at number nine.

Finally, Sean Penn’s The Gunman rounds out the top ten with earnings of $2m.
