Adam Sandler has been awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
The Just Go With It actor accepted the 2,431st star at a ceremony attended by his family, including daughters Sadie, 4, and 2-year-old Sunny, on Tuesday.
“I worked hard as a comedian and then I got on TV and into movies,” he told the crowd. “So many people come out here with the same dreams I had and I’m getting to do them and I really appreciate it.”
At one point during his speech he was interrupted by Sunny, who grabbed the microphone. She later told the spectators: “I love my daddy.”
Just Go With It, which co-stars Jennifer Aniston, opens February 11.
