ABC Family is cancelling Teen Choice Award-nominated cancer drama Chasing Life.



The English-language adaptation of Mexico's Terminales will not get a third season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Chasing Life gave Italia Ricci her breakthrough role as a journalist diagnosed with leukaemia in the prime of her life.

The US version of the hit telenovela was adapted for ABC Family by Life Partners' Susanna Fogel and Joni Lefkowitz.

ABC Family wrapped up Chasing Life's second and final season last Monday (September 28).
