Amber Valletta has been cast in ABC pilot Boom.
The drama project follows Billy (Chace Crawford) and Cody (Rebecca Rittenhouse), an ambitious couple who look to strike it rich in the oil fields of Bakken.
Valletta is playing the "glamorous" business partner and new wife of oil tycoon Hap Boyd (Don Johnson), reports Deadline.
The actress stars in Sean Bean's TNT series Legends, and had a recurring role on ABC's Revenge.
Caitlin Carver and Yani Gellman have also joined the pilot.
Carver will appear as Hap's younger daughter Lacey, while Gellman is Hap's personal driver AJ Menendez. Lacey and AJ are involved romantically, but the relationship is a secret.
Delroy Lindo, Scott Michael Foster and India de Beaufort are among the other stars in the drama.
Boom, produced by Tony Krantz (24), is written by Josh Pate and Rodes Fishburne.
