Game of Thrones will return for a fifth and sixth season, it has been confirmed.
Further details about the return of the HBO fantasy drama are yet to be revealed.
The show's official Facebook page states: "Raise a glass of Dornish wine. Game of Thrones is renewed for Seasons 5 and 6.
"Send a raven and spread the word across the realm."
The season 4 premiere of the show aired earlier this week, and was simulcast in the US and UK on Sky Atlantic.
Despite airing at 2am BST, 537,000 tuned in to watch the first episode. Meanwhile, in America, it received the highest audience for an HBO show since the Sopranos finale.
