Beauty and the Beast has been given a full season by The CW.
Kristen Kreuk's drama, loosely based on the 1987 CBS series of the same name, will now have a further nine episodes, Deadline reports.
The show stars Kreuk as Catherine Chandler, a homicide detective who meets genetically-altered 'beast' Vincent Keller (Jay Ryan).
The series previously won an order for three more scripts in October.
It is currently averaging 2.4 million viewers and a 0.9 rating among adults 18-34, according to Nielsen data.
Beauty and the Beast airs on Thursdays at 9/8c on The CW. In the UK, the series will be shown on UKTV channel Watch.
