Nicholas Lea and Meghan Ory have landed roles on Supernatural.



Lea will portray real-life lawman Elliot Ness in a time-travel episode of the CW drama, according to TV Line.

The instalment will see Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) travel back to the 1940s, where they learn that Ness also led a secret life as a hunter of the paranormal.

Lea is best known for his role as Alex Krycek on The X-Files and recently played a recurring role on V.

Ory meanwhile will feature in the 11th episode of Supernatural's current season, reports Zap2it.

The actress will appear as a "working girl" named Sally who turns to Sam for help. She currently plays the dual role of Ruby and Red Riding Hood on ABC's Once Upon a Time and has previously starred in episodes of Psych and Smallville.

Road Trip star DJ Qualls will appear in Friday night's episode of Supernatural as a quirky hunter named Garth.

Supernatural continues on Fridays at 9/8c on The CW.
