The climactic finale, 'Founder's Day', was just below the show's first season's average of 3.66m. Straight afterwards, the fifth season finale of Supernatural was seen by a decent 2.8m.

Over on Fox, 6.02m tuned in for Fringe at 8pm, then Bones interested 9.05m, small climbs of around 200k week-on-week for each.

CBS's latest Survivor put in a hefty 12.97m, after which 13.28m and 14.91m tuned in for CSI and The Mentalist.

Grey's Anatomy logged 10.9m for ABC, then spinoff drama Private Practice pulled in 9.28m for its third season finale. FlashForward, which was axed this week, had a lackluster 4.84m.

NBC's comedy block of Community, Parks & Recreation, The Office and 30 Rock took respective audiences of 4.39m, 4.26m, 6.58m and 5m. The Marriage Ref fell to a series low of 4m in the 10pm hour.
