The Walking Dead star Emma Bell has admitted that filming her death scene on the AMC drama was "terrifying".
Her character Amy was bitten by a zombie during a camp invasion in the show's fourth episode and later died from her wounds.
Bell told the AMC blog: "When [the zombie actor] was taking a bite, I could feel it. Obviously, my skin was protected, but you could feel the pressure of him and you could feel this river of blood come dripping down my side and that was enough to make me have a conniption."
She added: "It was very believable. All I had to do was look down and my arm looked like it had a huge bite in it. It was terrifying."
The Frozen star explained that she had enjoyed the camaraderie between the show's regular characters during her stint.
"One of the best moments I had was walking onto the survivor camp set," she said. "I'm a huge fan of Lost, and one of the things I loved about loved about [The Walking Dead] was that you felt like you were on this island with these people. Obviously the shows are very different, but there are certain elements that parallel each other."
The first season of The Walking Dead continues on Sundays at 10/9c on AMC in the US and on Fridays at 10pm on FX in the UK.
