Supergirl will continue soaring for now - as CBS has given the show a full season order.
The first season of the superhero series has been extended by a further seven episodes, bringing its total count to 20, reports Deadline.
Starring Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers, Supergirl became Sky 1's highest-rated series launch in nearly three years earlier this month.
However, it has seen middling ratings in the US.
The show is currently casting a 13-year-old version of Superman, who will appear in flashbacks in the 13th episode.
Mehcad Brooks, Calista Flockhart, Jeremy Jordan, David Harewood and Chyler Leigh also star.
