Lindsay Lohan is to appear opposite Charlie Sheen in an episode of his sitcom Anger Management.



The troubled star will play herself in an episode of the FX series, romancing Sheen's character Charlie Goodson after becoming his therapy patient.

Lohan and Sheen will also be seen together in big-screen horror spoof Scary Movie 5, which will hit US cinemas in April.

In November last year, Sheen was reported to have given his co-star $100,000 (£62,000) in order to pay off a tax bill and later described the actress as "smart and super talented".

Anger Management received a 90-episode order in July 2012, to air over the course of two years.

Musician and The Voice coach Cee Lo Green will also play himself in a forthcoming episode of the comedy.

Anger Management airs on Thursdays at 9.30/8.30c on FX. In the UK, the show is screened at 10pm on Wednesday nights on Comedy Central.
