Executives at NBC have confirmed that Jane Krakowski's pregnancy will not be written into her character's storyline on 30 Rock.



Following Krakowski's recent announcement that she is expecting her first child with clothes designer Robert Godley, it had been rumoured that her 30 Rock character may also end up a mum as a result.

However, creator Tina Fey and executive producer Robert Carlock have said that they currently have no plans for the character of Jenna Maroney to become a mother.

"At this time, we plan to shoot around Jane's pregnancy, because no child should have Jenna Maroney for a mother," they told EW.

The next episode of 30 Rock is scheduled to air on NBC on January 20.
