Fox has ordered a new comedy project from John Hamburg.



Hamburg, who is best known for writing Meet The Parents, co-created the show and will write it with Oranges scribe Ian Helfer.

Deadline says that the programme focuses on a father and son who both get divorced. The pair end up living together and start entering the world of dating.

Hamburg and Helfer will executive produce the project with Katherine Pope and Terra Nova's Peter Chernin.

Fox is also developing a pilot based on the comic book series Locke & Key, a legal comedy drama and a remake of the British comedy Outnumbered.
