Comedy Central says “Broad City” will end with its fifth season, but creators and stars Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer aren’t exactly going away.

The show’s fifth season will air in early 2019 and will be the final one for “Broad City,” Comedy Central announced Thursday. The channel also, however, is entering into a first-look deal with Glazer and Jacobson, who already have three projects in development.

“‘Broad City’ has been our baby and first love for almost 10 years, since we started as a web series,” Glazer and Jacobson say in a statement. “It’s been a phenomenal experience, and we’ve put ourselves into it completely. ‘Broad City has always had a spontaneous pace and feeling, and ending after Season 5 honors that spirit. We are very excited to bring new voices and points of view to Comedy Central and continue our collaboration together in new ways.”

The three projects in development at Comedy Central are:

    – “Platinum Status,” a comedy about a guy (Eliot Glazer, a “Broad City” semi-regular and Ilana’s real-life brother) recovering from a breakup in hipster Los Angeles. Eliot Glazer created the show and will executive produce with Ilana.

    – “Mall USA,” an animated comedy about a 13-year-old girl whose afterschool home is the mall. It comes from “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Broad City” writer Gabe Liedman, with Jacobson and Glazer exec producing.

    – “Young Professionals,” about a group of housemates who work in Washington. It’s created by former Obama speechwriter David Litt, and Jacobson and Glazer are executive producing.
