Can Scream Queens' Emma Roberts and Lea Michele escape the Red Devil killer?

Emma Roberts, Ariana Grande and Lea Michele run for their lives in the trailer for Glee co-creator Ryan Murphy's new series Scream Queens.

The Fox horror anthology series takes place on the campus of the fictional Wallace University, where the infamous Red Devil killer strikes after years off the grid.

The fresh murders in Scream Queens coincide with the university's dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) threatening to shut down the Kappa sorority.

Opposing Dean Munsch is the ruthless Kappa president Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts) and her gaggle of underlings (Keke Palmer, Billie Lourd, Ariana Grande and Abigail Breslin).

Scream Queens will also feature Nick Jonas, Lucien Laviscount, Oliver Hudson and Nasim Pedrad in its limited series run.

Fox premieres the horror series in September as part of the kick-off of its 2015-16 television schedule.
