Natalie Dormer will star in A Long Way from Home.



The Game of Thrones actress will appear alongside James Fox, Paul Nicholls and Brenda Fricker in writer-director Virginia Gilbert's dramatic love film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The British-French co-production centres around an older couple whose passion is reignited after meeting a younger couple on holiday in Nimes.

The older man (Fox) strikes up a profound relationship with the younger woman (Dormer) that changes both the pair's lives.

Dormer plays Margaery Tyrell in HBO's adaptation of Game of Thrones and starred in The Tudors as Anne Boleyn.

She has appeared in feature films including Casanova, W.E. and Captain America and will next be seen in Ron Howard's Rush.

A Long Way from Home is seeking a distributor, with a 2013 release planned.
