Angelina Jolie has said that she hopes that her six children will look back fondly on their childhood as they grow older.
In an interview with Matt Lauer for NBC's Today Show, the Tourist actress suggested that she and partner Brad Pitt have tried to always be supportive of their kids' needs.
"[I hope they'll say that] they were loved and encouraged to be who they are and not pushed into something that they're not," she explained.
Jolie also added that she has high hopes for her children's futures.
The star noted: "Hopefully they'll be the strong, beautiful individuals that they are today and be happy in their lives, be fulfilled in their lives and be living their lives honestly."
The Tourist is released on December 10 in US and UK cinemas.
