The R-rated comedy barely overtakes the superhero flick in its first week
Melissa McCarthy's The Boss has gone straight to the top of the US box office after taking $23.48m in its first week.
The R-rated comedy only just overtook Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is second also with $23.48m. Looks like there was just a few dollars in it.
Zootopia is third with $14m, comedy sequel My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is fourth with $6.4m and Hardcore Henry is new at five with $5 million.
Miracles from Heaven is in at six with $4.8m and God's Not Dead 2 is seventh with $4m.
Finally, The Divergent Series: Allegiant is eighth with $3.6m, 10 Cloverfield Lane is ninth with $3m and Eye in the Sky rounds out the top ten with $2.8m.
