Horror hit It Follows may get a follow-up, with American distributor Radius-TWC revealing that discussions have already begun regarding a sequel.



Tom Quinn, co-president of Radius-TWC, said that a potential title has also been talked about for a second instalment.

"I don't want to give away too much, but we've thought about it," Quinn told EW of the sequel plans.

He added: "Flip the title. There's so much you could do."

David Robert Mitchell's It Follows sees teen Jay (Maika Monroe) on the run from a shapeshifting demon that's passed on by having sex.

The title Follow It suggests a reversal in fortunes for the sequel.

It Follows has been drawing rave reviews from critics since its Cannes Film Festival debut last year, and currently stands at a 95% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

To date it has earned more than $11 million at the box office from a budget of $2 million.
