Before Tye Sheridan can travel back to the 1980s for X-Men: Apocalypse, he has to take down the undead in a new horror comedy first.


Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse - which has unveiled a new trailer – takes a darkly comic look at the end of humanity.

When the dead start to rise in a sleepy little town, the fate of our species is in the hands of three teenage Scouts and a gun-wielding cocktail waitress (Sarah Dumont).

The horror comedy comes from Christopher B Landon, the writer of Disturbia and last year's Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones.

Patrick Schwarzenegger, David Koechner and Cloris Leachman also appear in the film, which was shot last summer in Los Angeles.

Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse opens on October 30 in the US and on November 6 in the UK.
