Amanda Seyfried has said that there will be no sequel to 2008's Mamma Mia!.
The actress, who starred in the hit musical adaptation with Meryl Streep, Dominic Cooper, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan, told Marie Clare that there would be no room to develop the story, despite her initial keenness to revisit her role of Sophie.
She told the magazine: "[Would it happen?] F**k no! That's never gonna happen. Like, what would they do? What would they write about? How would they get all the actors back?"
Seyfried previously admitted that rumours of a follow-up movie originated from her voicing a desire to star in a second film.
