The show will continue with new episodes through mid-December and will then air repeats until January 3, HLN has announced.

Behar said in a statement that she's very "proud" of the two years she has spent covering breaking news stories and interviewing celebrities like Bette Midler, Michael Moore and Diane Keaton.

"I owe tremendous thanks to the show team who made it possible," Behar added.

The Joy Behar Show premiered on HLN on September 29, 2009 and quickly became a hit with viewers.

During her tenure on HLN, Behar received a GLAAD Award nomination in 2010 for an episode of her series dealing with the Mormon church and homosexuality.

Behar will continue her role as a panelist on ABC's The View.

In August, the presenter married partner Steve Janowitz after dating for close to 30 years.
