The Muppets was off to a solid start on Tuesday (September 22), according to Nielsen figures.



ABC's primetime reinvention of The Muppets scored a healthy 2.9 (9.01m) at 8pm, followed by Fresh off the Boat rising four-tenths of a point from last year's finale to 1.9 (6.05m) at 8.30pm.

The latest Dancing with the Stars elimination earned 1.5 (9.58m) at 9pm on ABC.

NBC won the key 18-49 demographic on Tuesday with 3.0, but CBS had the most viewers overall.

The Voice averaged 3.5 (12.34m) at 8pm, boosting Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris two-tenths with 2.1 (5.91m) at 10pm.

Over on CBS, NCIS was down four-tenths from last season's premiere with 2.5 (18.19m) at 8pm, NCIS: New Orleans dropped eight-tenths to 1.7 (12.62m) at 9pm and the premiere of Hollywood blockbuster spinoff Limitless earned 1.9 (9.86m) at 10pm.

The premiere of Scream Queens on Fox took 1.7 (4.04m) at 8pm.
