Breaking Bad's return date has been confirmed.
AMC has announced that the first of eight final Breaking Bad instalments will premiere on Sunday, August 11.
The network will also add a recap show Talking Bad, similar to its Walking Dead wrap-up show Talking Dead.
It is not yet clear who will host Talking Bad, although an announcement is expected to be made in the near future.
Breaking Bad was renewed for 16 final episodes in 2011, with creator Vince Gilligan allowed to split their airings between 2012 and 2013.
Gilligan has thus far ruled out the likelihood of a Breaking Bad movie, although there have been reports that Bob Odenkirk's character Saul Goodman could feature in a spinoff series.
The AMC series has won multiple Emmy Awards and has been nominated for four Golden Globes in its five seasons.
