Alex Kingston is to guest star in an upcoming NCIS episode.



The British actress will appear during November sweeps as a "woman of questionable morals" called Miranda Pennebaker, according to NCIS producer Gary Glasberg.

Glasberg also disclosed to TV Line that Pennebaker has connections to the highest levels of power in Washington DC.

"[She] deals in everything from high end weapons sales to priceless gems," he hinted.

Glasberg also teased that Kingston could return in future episodes of NCIS following her initial appearance.

Kingston currently plays Professor River Song in Doctor Who and has also appeared in ER and Law & Order: SVU.

NCIS airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on CBS.
