Time could be up for The Player, as NBC has cut the number of episodes for the drama series.
Starring Philip Winchester and Wesley Snipes, the show originally received a 13-episode order but this has now been trimmed to nine, according to Deadline.
It has struggled in the ratings in its Thursday night timeslot.
From Leverage co-creator John Rogers, The Player centres on Alex (Winchester), an ex-intelligence officer who is dragged into a betting game and must stop crimes from happening.
Damon Gupton and Charity Wakefield also star.
Minority Report on Fox has also had its episodes count cut, but NBC's Blindspot and ABC's Quantico and Dr Ken have received full season orders.
