It's bad news for Minority Report fans, as Fox has slashed the first season order from 13 episodes to just 10, hinting that the series could be cancelled.
The series has been struggling with ratings since its US premiere on September 21.
The Fox series picks up 15 years after the events of the movie, when the use of so-called Precogs to predict crimes is outlawed by the police.
One hold-over from the Precog police force is Dash (Stark Sands), who becomes committed to using his power to help cop Lara Vega (Meagan Good) prevent crimes.
The original movie's director Steven Spielberg has been heavily involved in the show as executive producer.
The series also stars Nick Zano, Daniel London, Laura Regan, Li Jun Li, Zhane Hall and Wilmer Valderrama.
Minority Report airs in the US on Mondays at 9pm on Fox.
