TNT has cancelled Southland.
The police drama will not be returning for another run after its fifth season.
The network said in a statement: "TNT has made the difficult decision not to renew Southland for another season. We are enormously proud of Southland, which stands as one of the best police dramas ever made."
TNT picked up the drama from NBC, which dropped it after season two.
Back in March, star Regina King appeared to question the fate of Southland.
She explained: "Of course we want it to come back. But there are just certain things that [make us think], 'Are we?'
