‘Toy Story 3’ still UK box office No. 1

Toy Story 3

Toy Story 3 has spent its fourth week at the top of the UK box office.

The Pixar sequel pulls in almost double that of Inception and new release The Last Airbender to secure its place at the chart summit.

Toy Story 3 has now taken in close to £60 million since bowing last month, making it the most successful animated movie in UK box office history.

Knight And Day and Nicolas Cage’s latest Jerry Bruckheimer collaboration The Sorcerer’s Apprentice round out the top five, while the Cats & Dogs sequel plummets four places to number nine on its second week on release.

Elsewhere, animation Tinkerbell & The Great Fairy Rescue is the only other new release to reach the top ten, charting in tenth place.
