‘Dead Island: Riptide’ tops gaming charts

Dead Island: Riptide is the new all-format number one, despite selling less than half the number of copies as the original.

The zombie sequel, which made 71% of its sales on Xbox 360, knocks Injustice: Gods Among Us down to second, while Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen debuts at three.

Star Trek: The Video Game is this week’s third highest new entry at four, and also the third biggest-selling Star Trek game of all time in week one sales.

Elsewhere, 3DS prequel LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins makes its debut at eight, above Defiance and fellow 3DS title Luigi’s Mansion.
